BEST DENTAL OFFICE in the ENTIRE STATE of FLORIDA! I have lived in FL for 50 years in various cities. This is by far, the MOST IMPRESSIVE and PERSONABLE dental office! My initial $59 self-pay visit included x-rays, gum measurements, and a teeth cleaning. I was greeted by the office manager, Kendall along with the receptionist, Korin who made me feel at ease because I couldn't believe how inexpensive my initial evaluation and cleaning was and wondered if there were any hidden fees. There was NONE and I was frankly astonished. Dr. Choi introduced herself when I was called after waiting for 5 minutes which is nowadays, almost unheard of, in other dental practices. She asked what dental issues that were concerning me and told me about her background. She listened to me intently, addressed all of my concerns and did not rush out to another patient like other dentists. She is a genuinely caring person. At my last dental office, my old dentist didn't even bother to see me at my last appointment and had the other staff do all of the work. Naomi, my super friendly x-ray technician, did my x-rays so quickly and did not pinch me once with the equipment in my mouth. I have a neuromuscular neck issue and x-rays are usually a major issue for me but she made sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire process. The x-rays seemed like just a couple of minutes for me, unlike other x-ray technicians, who struggle with the equipment trying to fit it in my mouth correctly. Naomi deserves an award for her absolutely painless and speedy x-ray skills. Also, I noticed that this office is extremely clean and hygenic as Naomi thoroughly cleaned the chair that I sat on for x-rays afterwards. Next, my gum recession was measured by Angela, who is the sweetest dental hygentist that I have ever encountered. She made me feel like family and made sure that I was comfortable at all times. Thereafter, Dr. Choi, immediately came back and discussed my dental plan. I have a swollen gum area around one tooth that concerned me and am scheduled to see their periodontist next week who works at their office twice a month. His Initial self-pay exam fee is $200 which is extraordinary low as well. This was not a hidden fee because I knew that I needed to see a specialist for this particular tooth beforehand and was thrilled that this office had an associated periodontist. Other than that one swollen gum area, I had no other issues. Dr. Choi checked for cavities and there was none. My last dentist didn't even check me for cavities at my last visit because he only does it once a year and didn't see me at all. Next, my sweet Angela cleaned my teeth and took special care around that one swollen gum area. I wanted the fluoride treatment which was an additional $25 and was informed beforehand of that price and is optional. I payed $85 total for my initial self-pay visit with my optional $25 fluoride treatment. Odessa Modern Dentistry also has a Low-Cost Annual Discount Plan for self-pay clients which saves you 20%-50% on most dental procedures and 20%-60% on Mouth-Body Connection procedures i.e. oral cancer screenings. For a family of 3+, it's only $169 annually and well worth it for my self-paying family. I research doctors extensively and look at all reviews. I asked Dr. Choi about her ONE STAR reviews and she explained to me what happened. They were in the WRONG. Most doctors wouldn't give me the time of day if I asked about every low review but she comprehensively explained the situations. I think there was one other, which was about the office having a bad feeling and unhygienic. PLEASE! This office is sparkling clean and I personally saw Naomi spray clean the chair between patients which I have NEVER seen before at a dentist's office. There was 1 FOUR STAR review and the rest were 460 FIVE STAR reviews. ODESSA MODERN DENTISTRY made my day because Dr. Choi (rhymes with Joy), Kendall, Korin, Naomi, and Angela made me feel at HOME with their friendly, caring, and knowledgeable attitudes!

I cannot say enough great things about Odessa Modern Dentistry. I had not been to a dentist since the Covid years because of price and losing my family dentist. Recently I started receiving dental health benefits through my job. I found out during my first appointment that I would need a Scaling/Root Planing and even with insurance, the cost would be more than I could handle. Dr. Groves and the team calmed my fears and formulated a fair payment schedule to make it possible. My procedure went great and I cannot wait for my follow up!

Absolutely hands down the most amazing staff! They care for you from the minute you walk in to the minute you leave.Everyone I have encountered so far has been patient and friendly. I have never experienced such compassion at a dental office. I feel very fortunate that I discovered this facility and wish I had found it sooner for my family.
